Weekly reflection

This has been my first experience with a blog. Here are my comments for the first week, both positive and negative:

• Positive - As a student majoring in Computing and Education, it is vitally important to become familiar with as many forms of technology as possible. I would prefer to make my mistakes in a class than on the job! So, while I am a little worried about all the new tools we will be using this semester, I am grateful to have the experience here. I am also eager to learn more about blogging as it may apply to my digital passion in life, that of using technology to improve homebound instruction.
• Negative - It's hard for me to not have a conversation in "real time." I may see something insteresting that I want to follow up with, and then have no choice but to keep checking back over and again. My schedule prohibits me from checking the blog as often as I would like, and this results in my being afraid that I will miss something important.
